Des O'Mahony PhD (Co-founder & Managing Director) is responsible for strategy and research. Involved with internet technology since the early 90's, he holds a PhD in Physics and was the Irish Internet Association's "Netvisionary" award winner for online trade in 2005. He also lectures at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Robert Whittle PhD (Co-founder & Director) is chief developer and is responsible for technology and server systems, as well as security. He holds a PhD in Physics and has worked in web technology since its foundation in the early 90's.
Kieran Fives (Co-founder & Director) is a graduate of Shannon College of Hotel Management and held numerous hospitality industry positions prior to joining Bookassist in 1999. He heads Sales & Operations strategy.
Karen Fives (Co-founder & Director) is responsible for project management and heads the development team for the Bookassist system, both in-house monitoing and administration systems as well as hotel-based technology. She holds degrees in Physics and Systems Analysis.
Eva Reyero (Co-founder) oversees branded channel distribution for Bookassist and is responsible for market research, marketing and public relations for the company in Spain. She holds degrees in Marketing and Design.
Yahya Fetchati is a former Director of Hotel Partner Marketing at Lastminute.com and former Managing Director of Hotels for Europe at Hotels.com and is responsible for Business & Operations at Bookassist overseeing all offices.
Mary Collins is Web Presence Team Leader responsbile for the web implementation team, affiliate partnerships and overall Traffic Builder strategy. She holds degrees in Physics and in Management.
Roshan McPartland is Operations Manager for Bookassist in Ireland encompassing online marketing, sales and supports areas. He holds degrees in Tourism as well as Marketing, Advertising and PR.
Cristina Arano is Operations Manager for Bookassist in Spain and Portugal and has over 12 years experience in the travel industry, occupying various positions in intermediary companies such as hotel Contracting Manager for international markets and Director of Sales.
Vivian Kelly is Financial Controller for the group responsible for finance in all offices. He is an associate of the Irish Institute of Taxation and also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
