Executive Team
Des O'Mahony PhD (Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder)
Des is responsible for strategy and research. Involved with web technology since the early 90's, he is a Chartered Physicist and holds a PhD in Physics. He was the Irish Internet Association's "Netvisionary" winner for online trade in 2005 was awarded their Internet Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2010.
Robert Whittle PhD (Chief Technology Officer & Co-founder)
Robert heads the development team. Responsible for technology and server systems, as well as security, he holds a PhD in Physics and has worked in web technology since its foundation in the early 90's.
Yahya Fetchati (Chief Operating Officer)
Former Director of Hotel Partner Marketing at Lastminute.com and former Managing Director of Hotels for Europe at Hotels.com. He oversees operations of all Bookassist offices and products.
Karen Fives (Head of Business Analysis & Co-founder)
Karen heads the Analysis area. Responsible for technical and business specifications covering in-house monitoring and administration systems as well as hotel-based technology, she holds a Masters Degree in Physics and qualifications in Systems Analysis.
Kieran Fives (Director of Sales Ireland & Co-founder)
Graduate of Shannon College of Hotel Management and held numerous hospitality industry positions prior to joining Bookassist in 1999. He heads Sales & Operations strategy.
Eva Reyero (Head of Web Design & Co-founder)
Responsible for Site Builder website design operations and strategy in all offices. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master's degree in editorial and marketing design, and has experience in the world of advertising and media and working in internet since 1996.
Mary Collins (Head of Internet Marketing)
Responsible for web implementation, affiliate partnerships and overall Traffic Builder online marketing operations in all Bookassist offices. She holds degrees in Physics and in Management.
Vivian Kelly (Financial Controller)
Responsible for finance in all offices. He is an associate of the Irish Institute of Taxation and also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
