Executive Team
Des O'Mahony PhD (CEO & Founder)
Des is responsible for strategy and research. Involved with web technology since the early 90's, he is a Chartered Physicist and holds a PhD in Physics. He was the Irish Internet Association's "Netvisionary" winner for online trade in 2005 and received an eircom Golden Spider award for web design. In 2010 he was awarded the Internet Entrepreneur 2010 Award by the Irish Internet Association.
Robert Whittle PhD (CTO & Founder)
Robert heads the development team. Responsible for technology and server systems, as well as security, he holds a PhD in Physics and has worked in web technology since its foundation in the early 90's.
Karen Fives (Senior Business Analyst & Founder)
Karen heads the Analysis area. Responsible for technical and business specifications covering in-house monitoring and administration systems as well as hotel-based technology, she holds degrees in Physics and in Systems Analysis.
Kieran Fives (Director of Sales Ireland & Founder)
Graduate of Shannon College of Hotel Management and held numerous hospitality industry positions prior to joining Bookassist in 1999. He heads Sales & Operations strategy.
Eva Reyero (Director of Marketing Spain & Founder)
Oversees branded channel distribution for Bookassist and is responsible for market research, marketing and public relations for the company in Spain. She holds degrees in Marketing and Design.
Yahya Fetchati (Head of Business & Operations)
Former Director of Hotel Partner Marketing at Lastminute.com and former Managing Director of Hotels for Europe at Hotels.com. He is oversees operations of all Bookassist offices.
Mary Collins (Head of Internet Marketing)
Responsbile for web implementation, affiliate partnerships and overall Traffic Builder and Site Builder strategy in all Bookassist offices. She holds degrees in Physics and in Management.
Vivian Kelly (Financial Controller)
Responsible for finance in all offices. He is an associate of the Irish Institute of Taxation and also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Paul Dooley (Director of Client Services)
Paul was previously with JurysDoyle Hotel Group in the Berkeley Court Hotel, Dublin. He holds a BSc in Management from Trinity College Dublin and a HDip in Hotel & Catering Management from Dublin Institute of Technology, Cathal Brugha Street.
